Who Am I?

I am a volatile & multifaceted introvert. I am a burning star in the midnight sky. The only way to know me is to fly into space, past the moon & into oblivion.

Stumble! & Other Interesting Finds

So! A friend of mine told me of this toolbar which helps you "stumble" upon new sites which pertain to your interests. The more you use it, the more personalized it becomes. I thought it was a pretty clever idea and so today, I used it for the first time. This is the first thing I was shown:

Sidewalk Chalk Guy

As you can imagine, I was very pleased. Art. One of my many loves and one of few things which keeps me from becoming utterly bored with the world. Not that I didn't know of this man's art before but, I had never really done much research on him. This post, however, is not about him. If you'd like to install the toolbar here is the link:

StumbleUpon

Somehow I feel as if I am the last person to hear about these delightful little things. This may be because I tend to not socialize much. I prefer my own world rather than the one in which everyone else resides. Which brings me to another topic. I did not find this through StumbleUpon but, the other day, I was surfing the world wide web in an attempt to find movies that are similar to those I already like. I came across a thread on tribe.net in which a woman was describing how she was an INFJ and her husband was an INFP. In my mind I'm saying, "You're a what now?" So, as always, I looked for the answer to my question via the worlds most beloved search engine Google, which then led me to that wonderful site we all know and love, Wikipedia. Here is what I found:

The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator

I took a test on humanmetrics.com since the others charge a fee, to determine my type.

My result was an INFP, the Idealist Healer. I won't spend any time describing how it works and what my type is all about here being there's just so much to say on the topic but if you'd like, you can look it up on your own. I just found it to be very interesting, accurate and helpful in understanding myself better.

Last but not least (Is that line getting a bit old? Maybe?), I've recently decided to create a Youtube playlist of my favorite songs. Something yet another friend thought of (I find that inspiration from others tends to be the seed of which most of my creativity stems from.) I felt it was a brilliant idea being that I happen to have quite a lot of trouble with my iPod (Apple, how I loathe thee) and spend ridiculous amounts of time front of my computer anyway. Youtube is an amazing thing although, like most people, I find the semi-new ads before the videos and that Vevo nonsense to be very frustrating. If you'd like to see what I'm into and hopefully discover something new, here is my channel PenialUnit. Feel free to subscribe or friend request me. Just don't send me spam, junk e-mail or perverse messages. It would be much appreciated. Thank you. Anywhoo, I will be adding new stuff on a regular basis. I rarely upload any videos of my own so there's nothing worth watching there. That is all for now. Enjoy the links :)
